Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Clarington is a mid-range hotel company in the United States that is part of the InterContinental Hotels Group. It started out as an “express” hotel and focused on providing basic services at a fair price.

Standard amenities tend to be useful and easy to use, which is good for work travellers and short-term stays. As of September 2019, there are 2,826 Holiday Inn Express hotels around the world with more than 292,000 rooms.

The idea behind Holiday Inn Express was to cater to the “upper economy” market by providing cheap, limited-service housing.

In Europe, the hotels used to be called Express by Holiday Inn, but that name was taken out as part of the Holiday Inn Global Brand Relaunch in 2006.

Bass was the first owner of Holiday Inn Express when it opened in 1990. At that time, plans called for 250 stores to open by 1995. All three of the first Holiday Inn Express rooms opened in 1990.

These were found in Poughkeepsie, New York; Nashville, Tennessee; and Abilene, Texas. All three were changed from Holiday Inns that were already there. The first store in Europe for the name opened in Scotland in 1996.

Beginning in 1998, Holiday Inn Express ran an ad campaign that showed regular people doing amazing things, like stopping a nuclear disaster or acting like rock stars.

If you asked them if they were professionals, they would say, “No, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night!” At first, the commercials finished with the phrase, “It won’t make you smarter.” “But you’ll feel smarter.”

In 2000, it was changed to “Stay smart, Stay at Holiday Inn Express.” The ads were made by Fallon Minneapolis, which is part of the French Publicis Group.

People have said good things about these ads, and they’ve been so successful that they’ve made it into popular culture, showing up in late-night comedian jokes and political drawings. The series of ads kept running until 2009.

In 2014, new spots with comedian Jim Gaffigan brought it back to life. Advertisements with actor Rob Riggle were made in 2015.

Most Holiday Inn Express hotels are based on company architectural models and have between 60 and 80 rooms, with a mix of standard rooms and suites in North American properties.

Most Holiday Inn Express hotels are brand new or recently remodelled because the business has been growing so quickly.

The first Holiday Inn Express hotels didn’t have any frills. The rooms were about the same quality as those in a high-end hotel, but there wasn’t any room service, a swimming pool, a restaurant, a bar, a health club, meeting rooms, or any other amenities on-site.

Instead, there was only a continental breakfast and an exercise room. Most of the high-end Holiday Inn amenities can be found at newer Holiday Inn Express hotels.

For example, there is a restaurant and bar, meeting rooms, and even a full exercise centre with a pool. One big difference is where the hotels are located.

Express hotels are usually in the suburbs or near freeways, while the more expensive Holiday Inn are in cities (including downtown) and are often close to tourist sites.

Some Holiday Inn Express hotels, like the Holiday Inn Express Banjara Hills, Hyderabad, India, also have room service available 24 hours a day.

The hotel offers simple rooms with desks, flat-screen TVs, minifridges, microwaves, and coffeemakers. Some suites also have whirlpool tubs. The hotel also has a hot tub, air conditioning, and a business center.

The hotel is kid-friendly and offers a conference center and wedding venue. Some say it’s a good place for those who like peace and quiet and that the breakfast buffet is great.

The major difference between a Holiday Inn and a Holiday Inn Express is simply that one is full service, while the other is more limited.

Holiday Inn is geared towards families looking for a comfortable spot to relax together, while Holiday Inn Express is aimed more toward the short-stay business traveller.
